April 4th 2010 was an incredible day of fishing on the Potomac! My fishing partner Paul Spence and I caught between 30 and 40 bass including close to 20 keepers! It was topped off by one of my most exciting moments fishing on the river. About 3 hours into our day, Paul set the hook on a huge Northern Snakehead!!! This was the first Snakehead caught off my boat and measured 28" and weighed almost 8 pounds! There are many opinions out there surrounding this highly controversial invasive species, but love them or hate them, it looks like they're here to stay...
