The Quantico Amtrak Station situated at Potomac Avenue at Quantico in the state of Virginia also functions as the Fredericksburg line of the Virginia Railway Express. The Station at Quantico was initially constructed by means of the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad in the year 1953. Today the station is virtually encircled by the Marine Base of Quantico. The station is a very useful hub both for locals and travelers wanting to explore the surrounding areas.

Washington DC and its environs provide a multitude of attractions for the visitor, and holding a prominent place are the unique festivals that are not to be found elsewhere. The AFI Silver Theater's Holiday Cinema serves up a selection of festive favorites including Christmas movies, classics and romantic comedies. The metropolis features innumerable monuments dedicated to illustrious natives, with the most renowned found on the National Mall.This city is home to some of the most renowned museums in the United States, with a variety of institutions focusing on history, the various arts and sciences. Prominent among these are the Smithsonian Museums, which is the world's largest museum and research establishment. Other highlights are Black History Museums and Women's History Museums.

This city area contains a variety of recreational parks and offers the chance to indulge in outdoor activities. Visitors may relax amidst the picturesque scenery, take a bike ride, enjoy a picnic or try their hand at rock climbing or canoeing.
