Washington, DC, has always been one of my favorite places. E 'in competition with San Francisco for the most beautiful city in his country. And is full of all sorts of treasures government sites, museums, monuments, parks, shops and restaurants. Washington also has some of the most attractive homes in the U.S.
Family vacations usually start in the famous shopping center of Washington, lining the lawn of U.S. Capitol at one end and the Washington Monument inothers. It may include a visit to the Capitol has two rooms, the rotunda and the National Statuary Hall, U.S. history, in the forms of art and statues, or it can be seen in the Congress session, But must get a Senator and Representative Passport Office before the visit. At the west end of the mall is one that raises the upper 555 meters to beat the Washington Monument, which provides an overview of DC and its Maryland and VirginiaSuburb.
Just north of the mall is probably the world's most famous address of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, home to some famous residents. The White House welcomes visitors, but only on request, and reserve your representative or senator months in advance. The tour-guide includes the East Room, the largest structure and the site of many ceremonies and press conferences, the Blue Room, where the White House Christmas trees each year, the Green Roomand the red room.
So many first class attractions, the shopping center is aligned along north and south sides. You can start the distinctive red sandstone building, which previously included the collection of major Smithsonian. It is known as the castle now houses the Smithsonian Information Center. Here you can get your bearings with a short orientation film, a model of Washington, and information on the establishment of 17 museums and the zoo in Washington. The cafe serves delicious CastilloPrices for food and a good lunch option in the shopping center
National Air and Space Museum is one of the most interesting shopping is the most visited museum in the world is not a coincidence. Earhart, the Wright brothers 'plane', the Kitty Hawk will be on display in the spirit of St. Louis Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Lockheed Vega that tested in 1932 as the first woman to cross the Atlantic alone. The plant has a planetarium and an IMAX theater, the two areWant to travel in space.
The National Gallery is another attraction, the center has a significant amount of time of your visit. The gallery has two buildings, the original structure of the majestic and dramatic white modern IM Pei, in addition to opening its doors in 1978 together. The National Archives is an imposing marble building that the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, all of course, surrounded by bulletproof glass, houses. The National MuseumThe natural history is a compelling goal in the mall The building 1.5 million square feet that contains the size of 18 football fields, history and culture exhibitions that cover the range from dinosaurs to butterflies jewelry. The hotel is very contemporary with Hirshhorn Museum of Modern Art Mall location, with drawings by Picasso, Warhol and others of his companions.
incredible collection of attractions in Washington is just fascinatingBusiness Center, Corcoran Gallery of Art International Spy Museum and the National Museum of American History Parade examples.
Rock Creek Park is the hub of DC Park, which stretches for 12 miles from the Potomac River on the border of Maryland. Visitors can picnic, hiking, biking, tennis or fishing in this oasis of beauty. Rock Creek Park is home to the Carter Barron Amphitheatre and the National Zoo.
Some key areas of Georgetown, in particular, known for their renovated row houses, bars, restaurants and elegant shops, Dupont Circle, with its historic homes and foreign embassies, and Adams Morgan, known for its nightlife. Suburban DC, also a good place to live, like Fairfax, VA, Silver Spring, MD Kensington, MD, and the super-rich Potomac, MD.
fabulous restaurants abound in Washington, and only a few points are required Komi (in greek), Citronelle (French) and the Prime Rib (Steak House). One of my favoritesFilomena is that I love the festive atmosphere, delicious Italian food and the situation in Georgetown on the Potomac.
